• Midget Mustangs down Yukon Appliance in rec hockey league; team wins 6-4 Five goals in the first period and one more in the second was all the Midget Mustangs would need in Thursday's game against Yukon Appliance.
• Duncans score seven in bantam hockey contest; team beats Northwestel 7-3 A four-point game from Daniel Bunn helped secure the win for the Duncans in the team's bantam division game against Northwestel on Thursday.
• Sportslife wins by two in U-13 Soccer League game It was a fast paced game in the U-13 Soccer League on Wednesday between Sportslife and Mobile Maintenance. Both teams matched each other goal for goal until late in the second half when Sportslife was able to pull ahead.
• Atom Mustangs team finishes on top at B.C. tournament It has been a dream start to the season for the players on the Whitehorse Atom Jr. Mustangs.

• Savages beat Mustangs in rec hockey contest The Summit Savages got off to a quick start in Tuesday's game against the Bantam Mustangs in Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's B division.
• Yukon Inn wins big in Oldtimers Hockey League Mike Burnett got the ball rolling for Yukon Inn in the team's game against the Klondyke Dental Molars on Wednesday in the Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey League.
• Mike Wintemute scores five goals in U-13 soccer game Wintemute Electric had no shortage of goals in its 11-4 victory over Pristine Auto Care Wednesday in the U-13 Soccer.
• Roadhouse opens up broomball season with 10-2 win Roadhouse hit the ice running in the team's opening contest to the 2008-09 broomball season on Wednesday against the Yukon News.
