Sean McAskie scores hat trick in hockey game

Thanks in part to a hat trick scored by Sean McAskie,Yukon Inn was able to get the win in the Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey League on Sunday.

Thanks in part to a hat trick scored by Sean McAskie,Yukon Inn was able to get the win in the Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey League on Sunday.

In what was a high scoring affair the Turbos went on to beat Performance Centre Turbos by a 8-5 score.


Yukon Inn 8, Performance Centre Turbos 5

Other scorers on Yukon Inn included Mike Burnett, who finished with two goals, and Daryn Leas, who each finished with two goals, while Rick Blaker also scored for the team in the win.

Jim Giczi and Bob Candow led all scorers on the Turbos with two goals each, while Glen Heinbigner also scored for the team.


Medicine Chest 6, AON Flames 1

Ross Phillips netted two goals for Medicine Chest, while the team's other goal scorers were Bill Bohmer, Pat Campbell, Greg Bull and Robert Bolton.

Scott Lowery scored the lone goal for the Flames.


Kilrich 5, Klondyke Dental Molars 1

Kilrich netted all five goals in the first period and had five different scorers.

John Skilnyk, Brian Love and Mike Blower each scored a goal and added one assist, while Peter Grundmanus and Roger Lockwood also scored for Kilrich in the win.

Rob Millar scored the lone goal for the Molars.

Les Luciuk and Guy Morgan each finished with one assist for the Klondike Dental Molars.
