Blindheim Trucking wins back and forth contest Wednesday in U-9 Soccer League

It was an exciting game in the U-9 Soccer League on Wednesday between Blindheim Trucking and Fountain Tire.

It was an exciting game in the U-9 Soccer League on Wednesday between Blindheim Trucking and Fountain Tire.

After both teams battled back and forth throughout the entire game, it was Blindheim Trucking that finished on top by the close score of 5-4. Shots on goal favoured Blindheim Trucking.


Blindheim Trucking 5, Fountain Tire 4

Gabriel Nadon got Blindheim Trucking to an early 2-0, before Tyler Milton answered back for Fountain Tire with two goals of his own. Both Nadon and Milton finished with hat tricks.

Other goal scorers on Blindheim Trucking included Harrison Ulrich and Morgan Ramsey, while special mention is deserving of both Jeremy Phillips and Billy Robertson, who had numerous near goals with strong persistent shooting.

Aaron Leef was named as MVP for Blindheim Trucking.

The remaining goal scorer on Fountain Tire was Rorey Sinclair-Eckert and the team's MVP was Alex Jurak for his outstanding job in goal.


Whitehorse Elks Lodge 3, Purolator Courier 3

Cody Amaral scored all three goals for Whitehorse Elks Lodge and netminder Angus Endress was named as the team's MVP.

Skylar Bryant led all goal scorers on Purolator Courier, finishing with two in total, while team MVP Tyler MacDougall also scored.


U-13 Soccer League: Nov. 24

Coates Services 6, Coldwell Banker 4

Alex Hansen netted Coates Services first goal in the team's game against Coldwell Banker Monday in the U-13 Soccer League.

Hansen finished the game with a hat trick for Coates Services, while the team's other goal scorer was Austin Bourque, who also finished with a hat trick. Justin Jamieson was named as the team's MVP in the victory.

Goal scorers for Coldwell Banker included Graydon McDonnell, who finished with two; Logan Harris and team MVP Anna Janowicz.


Underhill 8, Austring, Fendrick, Fairman and Parkarri 7

Mustafa Sayid and Breydon Lefleur scored the bulk of the goals for Underhill, with each player recording a hat trick.   

The team's other two goal scorers included Spencer Panter and Benjamin Grundmanis, while Brandon Barrett  was named as team MVP.

Shaun Clark finished with an incredible 4 goals for Austring, while Zac Haynen scored a hat trick and Brook Fusick was named as MVP.


Mic Mac Toyota 4, Medicine Chest 1

Luka van Randen scored twice for Mic Mac Toyota, while Nicolas Nadon and Liam Dinn finished with one goal and Emily Ross was named MVP.

Sam Bonar scored the lone goal for Medicine Chest and Reed Philpot was named as team MVP.
