Five goals in the first period, followed by three more in the second frame was all the Terra Firma Muckers would need in team's 8-3 victory over ORC Tree Services in the Recreational Hockey League's A division on Monday.

Eleven players on the Muckers finished with at least one point in the win.

Andy Connors and Chris Evans each contributed two goals and one assist, while David Hart also played very well for the Muckers, scoring twice.

The team's remaining goal scorers included Andy Connors and Rene Lapierre, who each scored one goal and added one assist.

Other point contributors on Terra Firma included Alain Desrochers, Brian Douglas, Justin Hallowaty, Hugo Bergeron, Steve Israel and Dan Beaudoin, who each finished with one assist.

Ben Cole finished with the most points for ORC with two goals and one assist, while the team's remaining scorer included Mike Beauchamp, who scored once and added one assist.

Boston Pizza Hawks 6, Kluane Drillers 3

Derek Johnstone had an incredible six point game for Boston Pizza, netting five goals and adding one assist.

Randy Merkel also netted a goal for the Hawks.

Tyson Hawkins scored twice and contributed an assist for the Drillers, while Rob Pitzel finished with one goal and one assist.

Bud Arnold also had a two point game with a pair of assists.
