  • After poisonings, supervise pets at all times! This is a warning to the general public regarding the recent strychnine poisonings of two dogs in the Golden Horn subdivision (Star, May 18). On May 13, 2004, two dogs in the Golden Horn area were found dead in their yard.

  • Americans will receive payback Just when you thought things could not get any worse, the Americans surprise you once again.
  • There's a catch to AIDS funds The loudly-broadcast 'new' funding for AIDS isn't 'new money' after all. It will be taken from the Canadian International Development Agency's (CIDA's) budget.
  • Fentie's stance on man's rights is amazing I am positively dumbfounded that Premier Dennis Fentie sees no problems with violating basic human rights (Star, May 19).
  • Make our roads safer, Mr. Martin Ed. note: this is an open letter to Prime Minister Paul Martin. As you know, the recent increases in gasoline prices have been disruptive to both motorists and businesses.
