  • Councillor spoke distorted garbage' You've mentioned that city councillor Dave Stockdale was on CBC's As It Happens on June 2 (Star, June 3). So what does he want a medal?
  • We did our best to stage a safe event This is a response to the letter from Wendy Bishop regarding the Watson Lake Music Festival (Star, June 2). I would like to respond to some of the points she has made.
  • Why wasn't wreck salvaged? Ed. note: this is a letter to Shannon Prentice Poelman, executive director/curator of the Yukon Transportation Museum.
  • Ditch this intrusive law! In the spirit of Clean Air Day, I rode my bicycle to work on Wednesday. I wanted the exercise, I had no car, the bus came too early or too late, and the weather was beautiful.
  • Stooping to a blitzkrieg' was appalling Ed. note: this is a letter to the City of Whitehorse. As an avid cyclist, I use my bicycle as my primary means of transportation throughout the year.

  • Watson Lake can keep this disaster My child was so excited to attend the Swollen Members concert in Watson Lake during the Watson Lake Music Festival (Star, May 22-23).
  • I want my money back! Ed. note: this is a letter to Premier Dennis Fentie. The premier's response is also published. I have to write this letter out of my disgust about our two ministers who have hotels and government loans.
  • The problem has been longstanding This letter is in response to your letter dated May 26, 2004. The matter of the outstanding Economic Development loans is a complex, intricate, and longstanding issue that has plagued successive Yukon governments.
  • You burglars stole a community's hope This is a message to the thieves who broke into my home at Kettley's Canyon last weekend and stole my computer and my tools and whatever else.
  • Chef merits rich credit I am writing in regards to the article in last Friday's Star concerning the No Pop Sandwich Shop.
  • Restaurant's policy is very unfair Recently, I returned to Whitehorse to proudly watch my daughter graduate from high school.
  • Another reason to spurn Grits The destruction of embryos and in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
  • Bullet holes have a negative health effect With the coming election, all parties are emphasizing the importance of medical care and the costs of medical care.
