  • Stop ignoring the people In a very short time, construction is scheduled to begin on a new school in Carmacks. There seems to be some confusion about whether or not the people of Carmacks want this to happen.
  • Watson Laker saved life Scott Cole, a volunteer ski patroller for the Watson Lake Ski Club at Mount Maichen, has been awarded the Canadian Ski Patrol System's (CSPS's) National Lifesaving Award in recognition of his expert handling of a medical emergency at the scene of a car accident that occurred on July 13, 2004.

  • Voters should oppose corrupt parties The sponsorship scandal is yet another example of corruption by politicians who believe that, if they can get away with it without long-lasting repercussions from voters (obviously, they can, since the Liberals have been governing repeatedly in spite of corruption that goes back to Chretien, Turner, Trudeau, Pearson, St. Laurent, King, etc.), then they are home-free.
