- Roadhouse outscores Cinderwood 7-5 in Recreational Hockey League contest After scoring five goals in the first period, Roadhouse was able to net two more less than thirty seconds apart in the last ten minutes of the game to get the win.
- Two 20-point performances in Tuesday's squash league Both Assante and Roche Financial played well in the Tuesday Night Squash League, scoring 20 points each.

- Speed skating camp focuses on sports fundamentals Whitehorse Rapids Speed Skating Club, along with the Yukon Amateur Speed Skating Association, held their second and final instructional camp session of the season on Jan. 11-13 at the Canada Games Centre.

- Air North scores 16 goals in rec hockey's A' Division A seven-goal first period, which was topped by a nine-goal second frame helped Air North to a 16-4 romp over the Cinderwood Canucks in the Whitehorse Hockey League's A' Division on Tuesday.
