- We played the part of murderers Imagine if you will: a burglar enters your home late one evening while you and your family are soundly sleeping.
- This process is smelling fishy Little Teslin Lake is a small (er) lake west of Johnson's Crossing. It has no creeks in or out and is not very deep.
- Marijuana prohibition doesn't work! Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day said the Conservative government doesn't want to waste taxpayers' dollars on an expensive and ineffective gun registration policy that does nothing to increase public safety.

- This draft forestry plan isn't finished I want to clarify the Yukon Conservation Society's concerns about the offering of approximately one million cubic metres of timber to industry in the Champagne and Aishihik traditional territory.
- Camp remained intact This past week, Takhini Elementary School, in partnership with the Skookum Jim Friendship Centre, held a First Nations' Culture Week at the school. Most of the activities took place outside, on the school grounds.
- We're flying without navigation equipment I received many comments within a short period about my suggestion of a possible surtax to help pay for the overruns of the 2007 Canada Games and the Canada Games Centre (Star letters, May 17).
