• You have squandered goodwill and credibility Ed. note: this is an open letter to the Yukon government.

• Phasing out the books carries some drawbacks I'm sad to see that the law library in the Whitehorse courthouse is about to be chopped in half.

• We shall always hold the door open With the Yukon Quest having been in full swing and the recent rescue of the malnourished sled dogs by the Humane Society Yukon (Star, Feb. 9, 10), the board of directors and staff of the Mae Bachur Animal Shelter thank everyone for their support.

• When they needed a tent, they called on a Yukoner Over the years, I have always been impressed to learn of Yukoners who, by virtue of their ingenuity or prowess, have been sought out by organizations from all over the world to assist them with their challenges and solve their problems.
• We want to be the police force you expect On Feb. 10, 2012, the Whitehorse Star published an edited version of a letter also received by the RCMP alleging misconduct by members of the RCMP.
