The Yukon added 15 more ulus to its medal haul yesterday, with several snow snake athletes playing a leading role.

Despite the impressive tally, the territory dropped one ranking to fifth overall, however.
Host Alaska continues to lead the Arctic Winter Games in the early medal count with 63 total medals, including a tournament-leading 19 golds.
Athletes who struck gold for the Yukon yesterday included Anthony Primozic and Doronn Fox in the snow snake – a popular event in the Dene Games that sees athletes throw a tapered stick underhanded as far as possible.
Snowboarder Reanna Newsome also won gold in the rail jam, while biathlete Nadia Moser snapped up her second gold ulu of the event in the six-kilometre sprint race.
Tuesdayʼs silver ulu winners included Yukoners Katie Vowk in the alpine ski giant slalom, and snowboarders Adam Waddington and Tim Schirmer in the rail jam.
Taking home bronze were athletes Matthew Jacobson (head pull), Fayne OʼDonovan (arm pull), Brittney Brown, Jerek Dendys and Justin Smith (snow snake), and snowboarders Rachel MacIntosh and Esa Suominen in the rail jam.
The Yukonʼs gymnastics team also took home a bronze in the team event.
