In a thrilling over-35 soccer game at the Canada Games Centre this weekend, Yukon Brewing held off a spirited response from Pepsi to outlast them 4-3.

Joel Edgecombe (2), David Strachan and Guilano Rayo all scored to put the boys in black up 4-0 early in the contest, but a combination of tiredness and nerves let Pepsi back in the game with Jason Steele (2) and Phil Jackson netting.

In the final minutes, George Maratos was causing havoc in the Brew defence but luck was against them and the club hung on for the win.

Meanwhile, in the second game of the morning, Quest Computers turned in another great team performance to beat Klondike Business Solutions 6-3 for their second straight win.

With Danny Macdonald pulling the strings, Quest raced to an early lead with Steve Insley (2), Macdonald (2), Andy Todd and Jim Brown all scoring.

They were backed up by a powerful defensive display by Brian Bruckman and Ken Sylvester.

However, they couldnt keep hotshot Pierre-Luc Lafrance quiet. The Klondike star claimed two more goals and Kristian Goncze picked up the other goal.
