Yukon Appliance, Sports North take series leads

Joe Martin added a pair of goals and two assists for the Blues while Eric Kositsin also potted two goals. Rob Wells collected a goal and an assist while Cary Goodman and Ryan MacKenzie each finished the night with two assists. Ryan Martin and Jakub Jirousek each had one helper.
Jay Glass recorded a hat trick and added an assist for the Canucks. Kirk Gale tacked on a goal and an assist while Ben Wondga also found the back of the net. Randy Merkel and Frank Aucoin each claimed a pair of assists while Curt Campbell had one helper.
In the other playoff contest, it was Sports North taking a one-game lead over the Environmental Dynamics Slimy Sculpins in their best-of-three series.
Derrick Hynes picked up three goals and an assist for Sports North as they overpowered the Sculpins 10-2. Dale Kulych added a pair of goals and a pair of assists while Rob Hill hit the twine twice. Darrell Pasloski, Alain Desrochers and Mike O'Connor each grabbed a goal and two helpers while Rick Olson and Ken Olson each posted an assist.
Adam Green and Dave Richard provided the offence for the Sculpins. Eric Gaucher notched a pair of assists while Justin Halowaty and Andy Connors each had one assist.

Ben Wondga was on fire for the Cinderwood Canucks, scoring five goals and adding an assist as they burned Boston Pizza in their A division semifinal game.
Frank Aucoin tacked on two goals and two assists for the Canucks while Randy Merkel netted a pair of goals. Kerry Pettitt collected a goal and two assists while Curt Campbell finished with five helpers. Kirk Gayle recorded three assists while Jordan Borgford had one.
Ed Peart picked up a hat trick for BP. Lance Brown added a pair of goals and an assist while Trevor Twardochleb grabbed a goal and two assists. Jay Massie also lit the lamp for BP while Ron Servatius and Barry Blisner each finished with three assists. Nelson Turnbull, Mike Nikon and Derek Johnstone each had one helper.

Yukon College 1
Rick Olson led Sports North with three goals and three assists as they downed Yukon College in their B division semifinal.
Dale Kulych added two goals and an assist for Sports North while Terry Jackson had a goal and a pair of assists. Rob Hill also scored while Darrell Pasloski and Derek Hines were each credited with an assist.
James Maltby notched the lone goal for Yukon College, assisted by Adrian Bergman.
