Whitehorse teams were dominant in this year's relay category of the Yukon River Trail Marathon.

Each of the three categories were won by a group from the Yukon capital, including Old Testees, which posted the top relay time of 3h23:41.

The Old Testees were the only team in the men's category to break the four hour mark.

The 11th anniversary of the Yukon River Trail Marathon was held on Sunday, starting and ending in Rotary Park.

The course uses sections of the Millennium Trail and other portions of Whitehorse Trail network.

Runners had an option of running the full marathon (42.2 km), half-marathon (21.1km), or the full marathon as a four person relay team.

Each year the relay attracts people from all over Canada, which this year was no different. Besides Canadians, this year's relay featured runners from the U.S., Spain, Germany, Mexico, Gambia and Korea.

A BBQ and refreshments were available post-race, with the awards ceremony taking place at 2:30 p.m.
