RETURNING – Both the Whitehorse Badminton Club's adult season and high performance youth club will hit the courts in October to start the 2010-2011 season.

The Whitehorse Badminton Club adults (17+) season will return to action at Takhini Elementary School beginning Oct. 1, with the Whitehorse high performance youth badminton club not far behind.

Regular adults club nights take place Fridays from 6:30 p.m. – 10:15 p.m., Sundays at the same time and Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m.–10:15 p.m.

Cancellations to note this month are Oct. 8 and Oct. 10, as well as cancellations for Nov. 12 and Dec. 3.

Full-season fees, from October through May, are $75 for individuals and $120 for couples, due by Nov. 14. Half-season fees are $40 for individuals and $75 for couples.

The youth club will hold competitive training Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7:30 p.m.–10 p.m. both nights, and fitness training Saturdays from 6 p.m.–7 p.m.

Beginner training night will be held Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m.–8 p.m. and recreation badminton, open to all players, will be held Saturdays from 7 p.m.–9 p.m.
