John Van Langen led the offensive charge for Sports North, notching four goals and adding three assists as his team cruised past the Kluane Drillers 14-8 in Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League action Sunday.

Terry Slonski added three goals and four assists for Sports North while Dustin Slonski contributed a hat trick and three helpers. Richard Graham potted a pair of markers while Dave Richard had a goal and an assist. Ken Olson also found the back of the net and assists went to Colin Dawe, Mike O'Connor, Rick Olson and Darrell Pasloski, all with two.

Tyler Murray replied for the Drillers with five goals and two assists. Mark Daniels chipped in a goal and two assists while Ed Vanderkley and Rob Pitzel each claimed a goal and an assist. Bud Arnold was credited with four helpers while Pat Anderson had two assists and Eric Magnuson finished with one.

Blaine Monahan had a big game for the U-Brew Bruins, netting four goals and a pair of assists as they dominated the Yukon Inn/Boiler Room.

Marcel Barreault added two goals and an assist for the Bruins while Tyson Hawkins had a goal and three assists. Shayne Parker recorded a goal and two helpers while Calvin Morberg and Kevin Smith each picked up a goal and an assist. Shay Mortimer was awarded a pair of assists and goaltender Mike Hawkins and Jesse Bowe each grabbed one assist.

Will Beckett posted a goal and two assists for the Inn while Wayne Risby and Hugh Boyle also scored. Single assists went to Joe Beckett, Josh Holmes and Adam George.

It was a solid team effort by the Whitehorse Midget Mustangs, as they came from behind to erase a three-goal deficit and edge Boston Pizza.

Lowell Johnston scored the winning goal with 2:44 left in regulation, adding to his two assists. Joe Densmore contributed a pair of goals and an assist while Tanner Kulych and Robbie Stuckey each had a goal and one helper. Kane Dawe assisted on three of the Mustangs' markers while Fraser Love an d Alex Johnston each had one assist.

Derek Johnstone replied for BP with three goals and an assist. Brian Curial provided the additional goal while Lance Brown claimed three assists and Jamie Edzerza grabbed one assist.

Yukon Appliance Blues 10

Roadhouse 5

Rob Wells collected three goals and a pair of assists for the Yukon Appliance Blues as they doubled the Roadhouse in an intense battle.

Chris Dixon added a hat trick while Wyatt Drift assisted on all five goals. Pat Kenny and Daryn Leas each chipped in a goal and an assist while Jakub Jirousek and Brian Curry also hit the twine. Cary Goodman had an assist.

Mark King notched a hat trick for the Roadhouse. Clayton Thomas and Andrew Sprokkreef each posted a goal and an assist while Joey Mason and Matt Kremer were credited with two assists apeice. Single assists went to Darren Van Langen and Mike Gau.

Randy Cichon posted the shutout in net for the Terra Firma Muckers in their win over the Envirolube Oilers.

Doug Cote led the offence for the Muckers with two goals and two assists. Steve Israel potted a pair of markers while Justin Halowaty and Toni Grotteli each grabbed a goal and an assist. Dan Beaudoin also scored while Andy Connors, Nathan Dumont, Brian Agopsowicz and Alain Desrocher each finished with an assist.

Scoring came from all corners for ORC Tree Services as they denied the Yukon Inn/Boiler Room.

Jeremy Kovac picked up two goals and an assist for ORC while Mike Beauchamp chipped in a goal and two assists. Dan Crawford, Josh Clark, Arlo Riordan and Jeremy Hookham also hit the twine. Assists went to Jordan Johnston (2), Dan Johnson (2), Crawford and Jordan Holloway.

Dave Galbraith scored the lone goal for the Inn, assisted by Richard Yuill.

Cinderwood Canucks 7

Andrew Sprokkreef and Mark King scored in the final minute of regulation for the Roadhouse, as they came from behind to tie the Cinderwood Canucks.

Sprokkreef's second goal of the game came with 36 seconds remaining, to bring the Roadhouse within one. King lit the lamp with just 13 seconds left to tie it his second goal of the night as well. Also scoring for the Roadhouse were Joey Mason, with a pair, and Aaron France. Assists went to Ryan Hodgins (2), Sprokkreef, Mason, Clayton Thomas and Jake Derksen.

Kirk Gale replied for the Canucks with a pair of markers. Randy Merkel added a goal and two assists while Frank Aucoin, Martin Lawrie, Jim Allen and Jeff O'Farrell provided the additional goals. Jay Glass assisted on five of them. Mike L'Henaff finished with two assists while Curt Campbell and Dave Borud each had one helper.

Dave Pearson collected a hat trick for Boston Pizza as they grounded the Air North Jets.

Derek Johnstone tacked on a pair of goals and a pair of assists for BP while Brian Curial contributed a goal and two helpers. Lance Brown and Dean Mastrangelo each grabbed a goal and an assist while Jamie Edzerza and Ian Kuster each claimed two assists. Trevor Twardochleb had one assist.

Tim McClelland, Ryan Kinney and Wes Marsh scored for the Jets, assisted by Darius Elias (2), Shawk Kolak, Tim MacIntosh and McClelland.
