Underhill overpowers first place team in squash league

Underhill played an amazing match against first-placed Sterling Insurance in the Thursday Night Squash League.

Underhill played an amazing match against first-placed Sterling Insurance in the Thursday Night Squash League.

Underhill scored 21 points and limited Sterling Insurance to just two points.

Despite the lopsided loss, Sterling Insurance still has a 16 point lead for first place and 220 points in total.

Electrical Shop had the only bye in Thursday's competition.

Stephen Grundmanis led the way for Underhill scoring six points, while Chris Ziegler, Charles Stuart and Zoe Walker each scored five points.

Shannon Tessier scored the lone two points for Sterling Insurance.


Northern Lights Optometry 19, Whitehorse Travel 10

Vicki Stoaddart scored six points for Northern Lights Optometry, while Eric Irvine and Alex Kastelein each contributed five points.

Ashley LaBar led the way for Whitehorse Travel, finishing with six points in the loss.


Kumon Learning 15, Emco 15

Judy Ratcliffe and Katrina Russel played well, each scoring six points for Kumon Learning in the tie.

Jen Meurer and Logan Bull each scored six points for Emco, while Sophia Flather finished with three.
