The U Brew Bruins scored seven goals in the first period and followed it up with an even more impressive 11-goal second frame to beat Narrow Gauge Contracting in their 'B' divisional hockey game in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League on Thursday.

U Brew Bruins 18, Narrow Gauge Contracting 6
Dennis Calbery led the way for the Bruins in scoring with three goals and four assists, while Kevin Smith also played very well, finishing with three goals and and contributing three assists.
Calvin Marberg also played well, scoring a hat trick, while Tyson Hawkins and Ralph Sembsmoen each finished with two goals and two assists.
Shay Mortimer scored twice, while Jesse Bowe finished with one goal and added four assists.
George Skookum scored once in the win.
Milo Jordan played well for Narrow Gauge, scoring a hat trick and adding two assists, while Durand Cornett and Yves Paradis each scored one goal and contributed two assists.
Chris Kostelnik scored the remaining goal in the loss.
Envirolube Oilers 4, Yukon Inn 2
Peter Mostyn led the way in goals and overall points for the Oilers, scoring twice and adding one assist.
Other goals scorers on the team included John Blankeman and Brent Byers, while Evan Wise also played well, contributing two assists.
Joe Beckett and Wayne Risby played well for the Yukon Inn, each scoring one goal and adding one assist in the loss.
Other notables include Eliot Kaminecki and Eric Marcoux, who each contributed one assist.
