Kieran Halliday opened the scoring for the Lake Laberge Lions but Chris Torgerson's great ball control helped him tie up the game before the whistle echo died in the fieldhouse.

The first half remained close as netminder Sebastien Lapres for the Lions was able to stop all but Ben Wright for the Deli for the remainder of the half.

The Deli's goalie stopped numerous shots but was unable to stop Hallidays' second attempt. Hannah Milner and Jared Huber each snuck another goal past him in the half to go into the break with a 4-2 lead for the Lions.

An early goal by Steven Worsfold for the Deli made the game close at the start of the second half. But the outnumbered Deli team were unable to stop the Lake Laberge Lions as Huber and Milner each added a second goal to their totals.

Anja Aard assisted on goals by Landon Worsfold and Morgan Paul as the half progressed and two late goals by Alejandro Peters topped off the scoring to make a total of 10 for the Lions.

Torgerson's strong effort and ball control throughout the game earned him the MVP standing for the Deli while the consistent play-making and passing of Aard for the Lions earned her the MVP designation for the Lake Laberge Lions.
