Turbos extinguish Flames in Oldtimers game

Gregor Gabb, assisted by Bernie Adilman and Bob Candow, got the Performance Centre Turbos on the scoreboard Wednesday in the team's playoff hockey match in Oldtimers league.

The Turbos went on to beat the AON Flames by a 3-1 score.


Performance Centre Turbos 3, AON Flames 1

Jim Giczi and Matt Sills also scored for the Turbos, while Woody Bennett and Glen Heinbigner finished with one assist.

Brian Eyolfson was the lone Flames goal score, which was assisted by Kelly Collins and Eric von Flotow.


Medicine Chest 4, Firth Rangers 1

Four separate goal scorers highlighted Medicine Chest's Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey League playoff match against the Firth Rangers on Wednesday.

Goal scorers on Medicine Chest included Bill Bohmer, Ryan Hennings, Mark Pike and Paul Lackowicz.

Brian McWatters, Pat Campbell and Ken Vickerman each finished with an assist for Medicine Chest.

Ed van Randen put in the lone goal for the Firth Rangers, which was unassisted.
