TOONIE TOURNAMENT – Soccer action was fast and furious at the Canada Games Centre last weekend. Pictured, Mic Mac Toyota’s Noah Bradford, left, and Riverstone Dental’s Lochlan Wood chase down a ball during the U7 final of the Toonie Tournament Saturday afternoon. Mic Mac won the game 4-3 in overtime, with Fiona Farr’s second goal of the game serving as the game-winner. In total, 36 teams competed in three divisions: U7, U9 and U11. Toonies, or food bank donations, were collected from participants.
