One week ago snow was desperately needed. Not now!

All trails have been groomed and most are in excellent condition. Dog, Copper to Best Chance, Upper Valley and Selwyn's Loop are excellent for classic or skating. World Cup 10-kilometre, 7.5-km, Sarah Steele Loops and the 7.5-km were groomed overnight and are now excellent for classic or skating.

Courses that will be used for this Saturday's race include: Stadium, Ketza, Copper, Lynx, Raven as well as the Tube and the Bridge. The Masters Challenge will use trails on the north side of the chalet only. The race courses will be re-groomed on Friday. Race trails are not closed on Saturday, but use caution between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

McIntyre Ascent and Descent are good with up to 20 centimeters of powder and recommended for experienced skiers only. Take extra food and water and extra wind layers for the Descent. Always watch for snowmobiles on the Descent as it is a shared trail.

Stadium closed to dogs on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please use the Dog Trail parking area off Hamilton Blvd. Use the plastic bags provided at trailheads and clean up after pets. Dogs must be on a leash in all signed areas. Day pass or membership required to use Dog Trail.

Wax Suggestions
