Conditions were near perfect Tuesday night and the field took full advantage of the clear skies and calm winds to go low – low enough to set a new course record of 10 under 46.

Early on the pace setter was Isaac Deuling who set a new record for the front nine with a 6 under 22 and finished with a score of 48, 8 under par, shattering the previous course record by 3 strokes.

However, league leader Dan Reimer was never far behind, posting a 5 under 23 for the front. Then on the back nine he pulled away from the field.

After starting birdie, par, bogie, it looked like Dan may have lost his touch but then on the 13th hole came the highlight of the night as his tee shot found the mark on the very tight 13th hole for a hole in one. He then proceeded to rattle off three more birdies over the next five holes to finish at a record setting 10 under 46.

Never before had the 50 barrier been broken in league play but Tuesday night saw three rounds in the 40's.

In addition to Deuling and Reimer, Jessie Devost also set a personal best with a 7 under 49.

Also posting personal bests were Vince Fedoroff with a 3 under 53 and Richard Vladars with a 1 under 55.

Congratulations to all.

Players of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the league which plays every Tuesday at 7 p.m.
