Copper to Mordor, Dog, Selwyn's Loop, Upper Valley, Powerline, the World Cup 5K and Olympic were groomed recently. They are excellent for classic and skating.
Copper to Mordor, Dog, Selwyn's Loop, Upper Valley, Powerline, the World Cup 5K and Olympic were groomed recently. They are excellent for classic and skating.
All other trails are also in excellent condition. Skating is better later in the day.
The overflow on Lower Valley trail is frozen and skiable.
The Mt. Mac Ascent and Descent and the Jack Fraser Loop were groomed recently. They are in excellent condition, but recommended for experienced skiers only.
Take extra food and extra clothing for the Descent.
Always carry a cell phone, especially when skiing alone.
Access to Dog Trail from the Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre is over the bridge and down Ketza Connector. Dogs are welcome on designated trails, but please follow the signs and rules. Use the designated parking areas and remember that dogs are not allowed in the ski stadium.
Day pass, membership or spring passes are required when skiing on any of the ski club trails. Passes are available at The Ski Base and the Mt. McIntyre Recreation Centre.
Events and Program Information:
The Buckwheat Loppet is scheduled for March 26 with start times between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The deadline to sign up is March 18th at 5 p.m.
Hours of Operation:
Wax Room: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lights on Monday to Friday from dusk until 9:30 p.m.
The Ski Base: Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
