Good grief Mr. Macintosh put a cork in it. As if a canoe scares the wildlife away. If you want to protest about something at least make it worthwhile like maybe the killing of cow moose or maybe the wanton slaughter of the porcupine caribou herd. Or how about those who shoot 8 animals and left them on the side of the hill to turn into soil.
Soothers run about a buck 99 at Walmart.

As far as i'm concerned, this race within traditional territory of my ancestors should never be again.
I am talking about the Mclintock river, my elders hunt in these areas today and tomorrow and will always.
These sports races scare away the game, bring unwelcome visitors to the area that is already populated with non natives who tear up the grounds that hold medicines that will never come again once ripped away.
I call myself an adventurer, out doorsy type but i do it with respect. My family use to fish salmon right there in that river, i am not sure about today if that is possible.
I sure wish people would leave things alone as my late aunt use to say, just go, Leave it the way it use to be.
I hope first nations can get to together and say something about this area there at Mclintock river. The old ones that have gone on still say fight for your rights.
I hope someday i can see our grandkids swimming in this river that grandmother Carrie use to fish in. thank you.
