Tennis Yukon hosted the third annual 40 Below Tennis Tournament this past weekend, and 27 players were out to showcase their skills.

The men's singles was held as a round robin with six players participating.
Whitehorse's Ryan Lane topped the division, and Ben Pereira placed second overall.
The Junior A division round robin included Ewan Halliday, Alex Roberts, and Angus Clarke.
Halliday won the first match and Roberts won the second.
The matches were five games with no-ad scoring.
The final was as close as it could get with Halliday and Roberts taking two games each.
The Junior B division was played as two round robin pools with the winner from each pool playing each other in the final game.
The final came down between Matthias Hoenisch and Ingrid Janzen.
Hoenisch placed first with Janzen in second place after the match.
Runner ups to the B division were Selina Hegligers and Andrew Roberts.
Also participating in the B division were Bryce Anderson, Dustin Muckosky, Gentianne Graham, and Jake Charlton.
The tennis action continued with the women's doubles.
Five teams took part in the round robin.
The team consisting of Beth Ellis and Colleen Hoenisch won the most games to become the winners of the division, followed by Nicola Pritchett and Shannon Poelman in second place.
In the singles category, Pritchett placed first followed by Ellis in second place.
Trophies were sponsored by the Copland and Roberts family.
The next Tennis Yukon event will be the Capital Cup in Juneau, that runs from April 9 to 11.
The semi-annual tennis challenge is a championship between the two capital cities.
Any players are welcome and encouraged to participate.
