Super-Geeks, Haulers move onto junior final
The Vandelay Systems Super-Geeks knocked off the Honda Hustlers 26-19 and advanced to the final in Sunday Junior Squash League action this past week.

The Pacific Northwest Moving Haulers downed the Canada Flooring Crushers 20-12 in the other semifinal, to earn a matchup against the Super-Geeks for the title this week. The Crushers and Hustlers will play for third place.
Winning their matches for Vandelay were Loudyn Forsgren, Kai Knorr, Scott Meredith and Logan Godin.
Forsgren, who was filling in for Stephen Harlow, defeated Honda's Denis Godin in four games while Knorr needed five games to beat Zoe Walker. Meredith fought Tamera Matechuk for five games before emerging with the victory while Godin took his match over Braedan Brickner by default.
Ryan McKinnon and Shaun Stinson replied for Honda.
McKinnon, who was subbing for Haley Thomson, ousted Erin Linklater in five games while Stinson swept Logan Small in three.
Jasper Martin, Stephen Grundmanis and Kelly Panchyshyn were victorious for Pacific Northwest.
Martin took care of Canada Flooring's Gavin Nyland in three straight games while Grundmanis sent Jessica Borgford home in three. Panchyshyn won her match against Aziz Van Gassen by default.
Robert McMynn and Rory Gibson replied for the Canada Flooring Crushers.
McMynn swept Ian March, who was playing for Jane Bell, in three games while Gibson downed Brandon Gullison in four.
The match between the Crushers' Jeanette Carney and the Haulers' Chantal Emond went to default.
