Not only did the team finish in first place in the league's standings, but it also won its final regular season match against Kumon Learning by a convincing 18-1 score.
The 18 points gave Sterling Insurance a total of 296 on the season. They will take on fourth place Emco when league resumes play in a couple of weeks.
The top four teams qualify for the playoffs, with the fifth and sixth squad also playing a consolation game.
On Thursday, three of Sterling Insurance's four players finished with the maximum six points awarded in a league match.
The points breakdown includes one for each game won, one for a match victory, one for officiating and one for wearing the team's shirt.

Amy Leach, Mark Beese and Darrin Sinclair each won their respected matches in three straight games. All three players were awarded six points.
Judy Ratcliffe scored Emco's lone point for wearing the team shirt.

Uniglobe Specialty Travel 19, Electrical Shop 8
Kelly Panchyshyn and Kai Knorr each scored six points in their three-game match against Electrical Shop.
Leonard Linklater also finished with six points for Uniglobe Specialty Travel, while Tracy Pittman chipped in the team's remaining point.
Point scorers for Electrical Shop included Blayne Epp, Adrien Marsh, Tara Matechuk and David Buckler.
Nothern Lights Optometry 15, Underhill 12
Loralee Martin and Zoe Walker each scored six points for Nothern Lights Optometry, while Katrina Russell and Tara Marchuk combined for the remaining three points.
Will Parker and Sophia Flater each scored six for Underhill.
