Squash league semi-finals scheduled for mid April

The top four teams in the Tuesday Night Squash League will be competing in the semi-finals, which will be held on April 15 at the Better Bodies Crosstraining Centre.

The top four teams in the Tuesday Night Squash League will be competing in the semi-finals, which will be held on April 15 at the Better Bodies Crosstraining Centre.

MEADIAsolutions finished in the top spot in the league's standings with 303 points, while Yukon Brewing placed second with 283 points.

Assante's 272 points were good enough for third place and Roche Firth Financial just beat out Kilrich for the final spot with 252 points.


MEADIAsolutions 19, Ketza 9

Trevor Mead-Robins, Gord Starko and Mark Tubman were in fine form in their individual matches for MEADIAsolutions.

Each player scored the maximum six points awarded in a squash match.

Patrick Gardiner scored the most points for Ketza with six in total.


Roche Firth Financial 15, Yukon Brewing 12

Jean-Francois Roldan scored six points for Roche, while Eric Marcoux finished with five points.

Blaine Tessier scored the most points for Yukon Brewing with six.


Assante 17, Pizza Hut 8

Elmy Harris and Terri Cairns each scored six points for Assante, while Chris Toleman finished with three.

Steve Fecteau led the way for Pizza Hut with six points in total.
