Sports North scores seven in rec league

Sports North scored five goals in the first period and two more in the second frame to get the win in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's 'B' Division on Tuesday.

Sports North scored five goals in the first period and two more in the second frame to get the win in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's 'B' Division on Tuesday.

Mitch Malchow showed off his offensive skills for Sports North, scoring a hat trick.

Dave Richard, John Van Langen and Ken Olson also played very well, finishing with one goal and one assist.

Darrell Pasloski also scored for the team, while Wade Hanna finished with two assists in the win.

Mike Beauchamp finished with the most points for ORC with one goal and two assists, while Jeremy Hookham scored once and added one assist.

Matt Johnson and Jesse Gillday also scored for the team, while Ben Cole added two assists in the loss.
