Sports North scores 11 goals in Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's B division

Sports North/Castlerock lit it up in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's B division Sunday at the Canada Games Centre.

Sports North/Castlerock lit it up in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's B division Sunday at the Canada Games Centre.

The team scored an incredible 11 goals in its 11-5 win over Summit Savages.


Sports North/Castlerock 11, Summit Savages 5

Dale Kulych led all goal scorers for Sports North, notching a hat trick and adding one assist, while both Landon Kulych and Gord Campbell each scored two goals and added two assists.

Other goal scorers on Sports North included Mike O'Connor, John Vandlandon and Derek Hines.

Chris Kostelnik had a monster game for Summit Savages, finishing the game with four goals, while Glen Smith notched the remaining goal for the team in the loss.


Envirolube Oilers 4, Y.E.S. Jets 1

Leroy Wolfe played scored the Oilers final two goals to secure the team's victory over the Jets Sunday in the B division.

Other goal scorers on Envirolube included Huy Chau and Geordon Read.

Adam Shellerg scored the lone goal for the Jets.


Midget Mustangs 3, Terra Firma Muckers 1

Drew O'Connor had a big two point game for the Mustangs, scoring a goal and adding one assist.

Other goal scorers on the Mustangs included Jaxon Glass and Riley Tobin, while Trevor Hanna and Bryden Cook each added an assist in the win.

Andy Connors scored the only goal for the Terra Firma Muckers.


Yukon Appliance Blues 6, ORC Tree Services 4

Four second period goals helped Yukon Appliance secure the win over ORC Tree Services Thursday in the A division.

Cary Goodman scored twice, while other Blues scorers included Gustis Gooodman, Justin Pigage, Chris Pollard and Jason Berkers.

Danny Johnson finished with a goal and an assist for ORC Tree Services, while the team's other goal scorers included Jordan Johnston, Jeremy Hookham and Phil Mullin. Josh Clark, Terrence Tait and Logan Freese each finished with one assist in the loss.
