Sellars, Sausage Party' tops on Long Lake

The Long Lake Triathlon took place in Whitehorse this past weekend. Fifteen individual athletes and seven teams took part in the event, which was hosted bvy the Boreal Adventure Running Association.

The Long Lake Triathlon took place in Whitehorse this past weekend.

Fifteen individual athletes and seven teams took part in the event, which was hosted bvy the Boreal Adventure Running Association.

The triathlon consisted of a one-kilometre swim, 15.5-km mountain bike ride and six-km run.

The fastest male across the finish line was Tim Sellars, with a time of one hour, 54 minutes and 25 seconds. The fastest female was Julia Gerlach, in a time of 2:17:11.

The fastest team was 'Sausage Party', with a time of 1:43:05, which was also the fastest overall time on the day.
