The Dog Powered Sports Association of the Yukon has released plans to host a final Twister series race on Easter Sunday.

The Watson Valley Grande Finale is planned for April 5 at the Mt. Lorne Community Centre.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with a musher’s meeting slated for 10:30.

The Twister race will begin at 11 followed by the rec class at 12:30.

An awards ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and will be followed by a potluck.

Food will also be available for purchase, including muffins, doughnuts, burgers, hot dogs, chips and coffee.

Race sponsors are Yukon Brewing, Men’s World, Icycle, Capstone and Aurora Booties.

Race cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members, while a membership is $15 for individuals and $25 for kennels.
