Roadhouse takes it to ORC in Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's A division

ORC Tree Services enjoyed a 1-0 lead for less than 30 seconds before Roadhouse answered back with a goal of its own on Monday in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's A division.

ORC Tree Services enjoyed a 1-0 lead for less than 30 seconds before Roadhouse answered back with a goal of its own on Monday in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's A division.

Before the conclusion of the first period, Roadhouse added five more goals, while limiting ORC to just two.

Roadhouse went on to win the game by a convincing score of 11-6.


Roadhouse 11, ORC Tree Services 6

Andrew Sprokkreeff scored a hat trick and contributed a pair of assists, while Sheldon King also scored three goals and added one assist.

Matt Horsey also played very well, finishing with one goal and five assists, while other goal scorers included Scott Horsey, Ryan Hodgin, Tim MacIntosh and Mark King.

Jamie Cairns finished with five assists in the win.

Jeremy Kovac scored half of ORC's goal total, while Dan Johnson chipped in one goal and added three assists.

The remaining ORC scorers were Jordan Houlway and Arlo O'Riordan.


Terra Firma Muckers 4, Kluane Drillers 2

Three goals in the opening period and one more for insurance in the final 22 minutes helped the Terra Firma Muckers get the win in the B division.

Brian Douglas, Chris Evans and Dave Hart each scored once and added one assist, while Nathan Dumont finished with one goal.

Doug Cote contributed two assists in the win.

Tyson Hawkins and Tyler Murray each scored one goal and added one assist for the Drillers.


Boston Pizza/Matco 6, Air North/Cinderwood 5

Both teams combined for nine goals in the first period on Sunday in the A division. Air North/Cinderwood led 5-4 into the second frame.

However, two Boston Pizza goals, including Bryan Curial's game winner helped the team to a close 6-5 win.

Curial scored his second game with less than four minutes remaining on the clock.

Trevor Twardochleb also scored two goals for Boston Pizza, while the teams remaining scorers were Jordan Bergford and Lance Brown.

Ryan Kinney finished with two goals for Air Nort/Cinderwood, while Frank Aucoin, Chris Gleason and Darius Elias also scored for the team.


Castle Rock Ent. 10, Narrow Gauge 4

Ron Kulych scored finished with an incredible seven points for Castle Rock on Sunday in the B division. Kulych scored four goals and added three assists.

Jeff O'Farell and Tanner Kulych combined for four goals, while the team's remaining scorers were Mitch Malchow and Wade Hanna.

Phillip Harry, Alex Vautpur, Milo Jordan and Steve Wort each scored for Narrow Gauge.
