Roadhouse and Yukon Appliance advance in rec. hockey league

Both Roadhouse and Yukon Appliance are on their way into the next playoff round in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's A division.

Both Roadhouse and Yukon Appliance are on their way into the next playoff round in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's A division.

On Tuesday, the two teams completed the swept in their respected quarter final series.


Roadhouse 13, ORC Tree Service 5

Goal scorers for Roadhouse included Jamie Cairns, Clayton Thomas, Troy Cairns, Matt Horsey, Scott Horsey, Shayne King and Mark King.

Jamie Cairns led the way for Roadhouse with four goals and three assists.

Philip Mullin, Dan Johnson, Ben Wondga, Joe Densmore and Kane Dawe each scored for ORC Tree Services.


Yukon Appliance 4, Air North/Cinderwood 3

Jakub Jirousek scored Yukon Appliance's biggest goal of the season in overtime, helping his team to a close 4-3 win.

Other Yukon Appliance scorers included Spenceer Tomlin, Erik Kositsin and Cary Goodman.

Nigel Cripps, Joe Mason and Wes Marsh each scored for Air North/Cinderwood.
