RIDGE PUB GETS ITS REVENGE – After losing the local broomball league’s championship game, the Ridge Pub went on to win the annual Function in the Junction tournament in Haines Junction, 1-0 over the Spectrum Bears. Patrice Brunet (12) scored the OT winner – a goal league president Milford Allain called the best he’s ever seen. Brunet’s goal (not pictured) came on a onetimer shot after a pass was tossed over the net and bounced once.
