David Rayo hit a superb hat trick for Klondike Business Solutions as they overcame Yukon Brewing 5-3 in over-35 soccer action Saturday.

Rayo was backed up well by the red-hot striker Pierre-Luc Lafrance as he got another two for the boys in blue.

Yukon Brewing were thankful for the Argentinian-bound Joel Edgecombe as he hit the net three times as well but it was not enough to gain victory for Brew.

The last game of 2014 saw Quest Computers overcome Pepsi 4-2.

This game would be remembered not for the quality of both teams but for a comedy of errors that the watching crowd witnessed.

Chief pantomime villain was Quest’s Dale Cheeseman who gifted a goal to Pepsi’s Simon Pulido trying to perform his own version of the nutcracker.

However with goals from Danny Macdonald, Steve Insley, Andy Todd and Nathan Bingham, Quest was able to turn in a victory.

Pat Shaw got the other goal for Pepsi.

Action will resume Jan. 3.
