Rangers beat up on Flames in Oldtimers Hockey League

An impressive six goal performance by the Firth Rangers, helped the team get the win over the AON Flames on Wednesday in the Oldtimers Hockey League.

An impressive six goal performance by the Firth Rangers, helped the team get the win over the AON Flames on Wednesday in the Oldtimers Hockey League.

Firth Rangers 6, AON Flames 2

Derrick Hynes led the way for the Rangers, scoring two goals and contributing three assists, while Joel Witten also played exceptionally well, finishing with two goals.

Ron Sumanik also got in on the scoring, notching one goal and adding two assists, while Grant Lowey finished with one goal and one assist in the victory.

Other notables on the team included Carl Burgess and Dean Klassen, who each finished with one assist.

Scorers on the Flames included Bill Bohmer and Al Koehle.

Yukon Inn 3, Klondyke Dental Molars 2

Tom Corcoran scored the winning goal for Yukon Inn after the conclusion of regulation time in a shootout.

Other goal scorers on the team included Pat Michael and Dave White, while Al Hammond, Greg Bull and Craig Steinbach each added one assist.

Goal-scorers on the Molars were Jim Baker and Adam Green, while Ross Phillips and Mark Pinter contributed one assists in the loss.
