One basket made by Pam James helped carry the Kopper Kweens to victory in the Whitehorse Women's Basketball League.

The Kopper Kweens won its game on Sunday against Feature Foods by the close score of 55-54.

Ann Jirousek led the way in scoring for the Kopper Kweens, netting 16 points, while fellow teammate Michelle Massie also played very well, finishing with 13 points.

Angella Ell sunk 24 points for Feature Foods.


Takhini Gas 59, Airport Chalet 33

With an incredible 30 points, Nathalie Gionet was the leading scorer on Sunday and helped carry Takhini Gas to its win over Airport Chalet.

Lariena Twardochleb finished with the second most points for Takhini Gas with nine in total.

Sarah Crane finished with the most points on Airport Chalet with 11 points, while Megan Freese concluded the game with 10 points.
