Well, it was pretty wet running but we had just under 25 people out for the Wednesday night orienteering meet.

The event was on the Golden Horn map and was a Score-O event. Competitors have a time limit of up to 45 minutes or an hour to find as many controls as possible.

The closer controls have fewer points while the farthest ones have the most points.

There is a deduction penalty for each minute over the time limit.

Pam Jones was able to find the most controls and had the highest score with Caelan McLean and Darren Halcombe not far behind. Choosing the shorter time limit Wendy Taylor, Debbie Kiemele, and Kate Mitchell had the best scores.

The next meet will be on Wednesday, Sept. 1, on the Yukon College map.
