Four orienteering courses were offered on Wednesday on the Takhini sprint map, looping through the Takhini North neighbourhood.

That sometimes resulted in  wet feet as the low parts of the forest and some playgrounds were still quite wet.

There were a distance and a course suitable for all the participants.

There was a very strong youth component as the neighbourhood families enjoyed the short walk to the start area beside the broomball rink.

Stian Langbakk completed the Intermediate course so quickly, he went out again and ran the Advanced course too.

A total of 77 participants were out on this pleasant night. A big thank you to the many volunteers who assisted with the event.

On May 19, the meet will be held on the Long Lake map. Start location is half a kilometre up the Grey Mountain Road.

A return to the forest!
