ORC falls prey to Hawks in Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's A division

The Boston Pizza Hawks concluded the first period with a bang in Monday's Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's A divisional game against ORC Tree Services.
The Hawks netted five goals in less than 10 minutes, taking a commanding 6-2 lead into the second frame.
ORC made it close by scoring four goals in the second, but Boston Pizza managed to hang on to get the close 8-6 win.

Barry Blisner led the way for the Pizza Hawks, finishing with an impressive six points, which included one goal and five assists.
Randy Merkel and Rob Johnson were also a critical part of the Hawks' win. The two players each scored twice.
Other scorers on the Hawks included Jordan Borgford, Brian Curial and Dave Pearson.
Trevor Twardochleb helped out on majority of Boston Pizza's goals, finishing with five assists.
Matt Johnson finished with a pair of goals and a couple of assists for ORC, while Dan Johnson, Jordan Johnston and Jeremy Hookham also got in on the scoring for the hockey squad.
Josh Clark assisted in three goals and Dan Cole finished with two assists.
Terra Firma Muckers 6, Roadhouse 6
Hugo Bergerone's goal, with less than 10 minutes remaining on the clock, helped the Terra Firma Muckers get the 6-6 tie with Roadhouse on Monday in the rec league.
Steve Israel also had an impressive game, chipping in two goals, while Nathan Dumont, Alain Desrocher and Rene Lapierre also scored.
Jamie Cairns scored twice for Roadhouse, while the team's other goals were put in by Mark King, Tim MacIntosh, Sheldon King and Andrew Sprokkreeff.
