David Wipf scored his second goal of the game with 4:14 left in the game to lift AON to victory. Tom Ullyett, Kevin Neufeld and Blaine Demchuk also scored for the Flames. Gord Peterson, Myles Dolphin, Michael Svoboda and Stu Mackay replied for Medicine Chest.

EDI 6, Firth Rangers 1

EDI displayed their potent power play in this contest, as Marcel Barrault and Maxime Durgre-Sasseville scored with the man advantage. Other EDI marksmen were Clint Ireland, Ty Heffner, Chris Lane and Colin Nash. Blayne Monahan replied for Firth.

Kilrich 2, Air North 0

Glen Traverse stopped everything directed his way for the shutout. Ben Kielb scored early in the game, and then defensive specialist Dave White shovelled home an empty-netter in the dying seconds

Yukon Inn 6, Tim Hortons 4

Yukon Inn employed the scoring by committee approach, as six different skaters collected goals – Shawn Kinsella, Alfred Feldman, Kirk Price, Greg Charlie (who was still minus on the night), Carl Cibart and Steve Arrell (with the game winner). Wynn Griffith shouldered the offence for Tims, scoring three times, and Bernie Adilman added the other.
