On Thursday:
AON Flames 2, EDI 1 (OT)
Paul Sullivan scored a beauty just under the bar on the power play 2:27 into overtime to lift AON to victory. Colin Nash had tied the game for EDI with 4.4 seconds left on the clock. Dave Wipf scored the only other goal of the game for AON.
Tim Hortons 9, Firth Rangers 1
Wynn Griffith came off the injury list to record the hat trick for Tims and Ed van Randen also netted three. Other Tims tallies came from Gregor Gabb, Dave Ecker and Gary Jerome.
Wednesday night:
Kilrich Industries 10, Air North Jets 3
Mark King continued where he left off in the regular season by scoring four times to lead Kilrich. Ben Kielb added a pair, and singles came from Ben Campbell, Tim Turner-Davis, Dean Hassard and Dustin Heffner. For Air North, it was Pete Mostyn with two and Gerry Brandt with the third.
Medicine Chest 5, Yukon Inn 3
Defencemen led the charge for the Chest, as Scott Palfreyman netted two and Bill Bohmer one in the win. Stu Mackay and Chris Carli rounded out the scoring. For the Inn, it was Greg Charlie, Gord Kuchler and Shawn Kinsella.
Action continues Sunday, April 7 with the following matchups: Kilrich-Medicine Chest, Tim Hortons-AON, Firth-EDI, and Air North-Yukon Inn.
