Tim Hortons 8, Yukon Inn 4

Wynn Griffith delivered a double-double to lead Tims to victory over Yukon Inn in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday night at Takhini Arena. Griffith’s two goals and two assists also lifted him into top spot in the league scoring race. Greg Lane added three goals for the coffee crew, and singles came from Gary Jerome, Gregor Gabb and Bruce Milligan. Shawn Kinsella sniped a pair for the Inn, and solo efforts came from Bernie Heffner and Mike Jim.

Kilrich 7, Air North 4

Derek Bilodeau, Dale Gray and Arlo O’Riordan each scored twice to pace Kilrich, and Les Luciuk got the other. For Air North, it was Gerry Brandt with two, and one apiece from Mike Burnett and Brian Gudmundson.

AON 5, Medicine Chest 5

Blaine Demchuk scored his second goal of the game with less than five minutes left to lift AON to the tie. Gary McKellar, Dave Wipf and Paul Sullivan added singles. For Medicine Chest, Stu Mackay sniped a pair, and one each came off the sticks of Myles Dolphin, Chris Carli and Scott Palfreyman.

EDI 6, Firth 4

Defence supplied the offence for EDI, as d-men Max Dugree-Sasseville and David Skookum each scored two, and fellow d-man Tim van Hinte also scored in the win. Ty Heffner rounded out the scoring. Four players scored for Firth – Damon Crosby, Peter Johnston, Lawrence Ignace and Rick Gingell.
