EDI used a well-rounded attack to defeat AON 5-2 in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday Feb. 23 at Takhini Arena.
Ten different EDI skaters registered points in the win, with goals coming from Gary McKellar, Tony Clennett, Mike Sage, Peter Kirby and Kevin Neufeld. Robert Vance and Blayne Monahan replied for AON.
Kilrich 3, Tim Hortons 2
Colin Nash scored his second goal of the game with just over three minutes left in the game to break the tie and give Kilrich the win. Pete Johnston got the other. For Tims, it was Pete Mostyn pouring in both goals
Yukon Inn 5, Firth Rangers 3
Greg Charlie scored two, including the game winner, for the Inn. Alfred Feldman, Shawn Kinsella and Martin Lawrie sniped one each. For Firth, the damage was done by Gord Campbell, Mark King and Scott Olafson.
Air North 6, Medicine Chest 1
Dustin Heffner led the point parade with four assists for the flyers, Mike Blower and Gary Jerome each netted two goals, and singles came off the sticks of Wynn Griffith and Bruce Milligan (!). Derek Bilodeau had the lone tally for the medical crew.
