Air North scored four times in the final 5:09 of the game to defeat AON 6-3, and in the process, clinched first place overall for the season. Gary Jerome scored twice for the Jets, and singles came from Mike Blower (game winner), Dave Bakica, Dave Wipf and Russ McDiarmid. Blaine Demchuk scored two for AON, and Scott Palfreyman added a single.

Yukon Inn 6, EDI 4

Greg Charlie led the charge for the Inn with three goals, Alfred Feldman chipped in a couple and Shawn Kinsella added the other. For EDI, it was Brian Gudmundson with a pair, and solo efforts from Peter Kirby and Mike Sage.

Firth 6, Tim Hortons 2

Greg Lane and Tom Ullyett each pumped in a pair of goals, and one each came off the sticks of Arlo O’Riordan and Mark King. For Tims, it was Geordan Clark and Matt Wallace with goals.

Kilrich 6, Medicine Chest 2

Chris Nash and Chris Carli each scored twice for Kilrich, and Peter Johnston and Andrew Pothier added one apiece. The Chest snipers were the unlikely duo of Ken Vickerman and Mark Pike.

In weekday action from last week, Greg Lane scored four times to lead Firth to a 7-4 win over AON; Dustin Heffner recorded three goals and two assists to steer Air North past Tim Hortons 8-2; Shawn Kinsella netted a hat trick to pace Yukon Inn in their 4-2 victory over Kilrich; and Jeff Jensen fired home the game-tying goal for EDI midway through the final period to help his team tie Medicine Chest 3-3.
