Offensive prowess carries Better Bodies to soccer win

The players on Better Bodies brought their A game on Tuesday in the team's U-13 Soccer League matchup against M & A Yukon Inc.

The players on Better Bodies brought their A game on Tuesday in the team's U-13 Soccer League matchup against M & A Yukon Inc.

Better Bodies finished the contest with seven goals in total, while limiting M & A to just one in the win.


Better Bodies 7, M & A Yukon Inc. 1

The victory for Better Bodies was largely a result of the great play of Graham Mainer-Pearson, Kasey Fernandes and team MVP Chris Dick, who each scored two goals.

Jessica Christensen also had an outstanding game, scoring the remaining goal for Better Bodies.

Evan Hoogland scored the lone goal for M & A Yukon Inc and was named as the team's MVP.


Co-operators 11, Mobile Maintenance 3

Tristan Olynyk, Ale Peters and Mike Wintemute combined for an incredible nine goals in the Co-operators victory, with each player scoring a hat trick.

The remaining goal scorers on the team included Erk Vasseur and Sadie Wintlaw, while the team's MVP was Lynsey Keaton.

The three goal scorers on Mobile Maintenance were Brittany Stutzman, Jeni Pierce and Adian Bradley, while Sam Rees was named as the team's MVP.


U-7 Soccer League: Nov. 4

Mike's Tub and Shower 1, Jacobs' Industries 1

Jamie Freedman-Phillips netted the lone goal for Mike's Tub and Shower Tuesday in the U-7 Soccer League, while Evyn Sinn scored for Jacobs' Industries.


Pacific Northwest Moving 6, DHL Express 2

MVP Sam Fleming led all goal scorers on Pacific Northwest Moving, while the team also had offensive contributions from Cassidy Cairns, Daniel Wilberforce, Kayden King and Shane Orban.

Scorers for DHL Express included Amy Vanderkley and Logan Langenhan, while the team's MVP was Kyle Bierlmier.


U-11 Soccer League: Nov. 3

Mic Mac Toyota Flame-fighters 2, Dirkbuilt Construction 1

Nikko Rodden and Danica Avery each scored for Mic Mac Toyota on Monday in the U-11 Soccer League, while Nicholas Nadon was named as the team's MVP.

J.J. Cannings scored the lone goal for Dirkbuilt and Quintessa Maltais was named as MVP.


Wintemute Electric 6, Physio Plus 3

Samantha Wintemute led all scorers on Wintermute Electric with two in total, while Jude Lemoine, Hannah Milner, Matthew Ng and MVP Jesse Berezan finished with one goal.

Chris Torgerson scored twice for Physio Plus and Bret Nichol netted the team's remaining goal.

Malcolm Muir was named as Physio Plus' MVP.
