Karine Grenier sets off from Shipyards park with her 10-dog team at the start of the Road Runner 100 race Saturday morning. The race drew Yukon Quest legends including Hugh Neff and Didier Moggia, as well as a few adventurous skijor teams. The Road Runner is the longest skijor race in North America at 160-kilometres. This was the first running of the race. Organizers hope to extend it to 320-kms in the future.
