Northern Lights Optometry wins squash game by seven

Northern Lights Optometry was the big winner in week 12 of the Thursday Night Squash League.

Northern Lights Optometry was the big winner in week 12 of the Thursday Night Squash League.

The team scored 18 points and defeated EMCO by seven points. The 18 points was Northern Lights Optometry's second highest weekly total so far this season.

The team is currently in third place in the league's standings with 154 points.


Northern Lights Optometry 18, EMCO 11

Patti Flather and Katrina Russell combined for 12 of Northern Lights Optometry's point total, while Kelly Panchyshyn also had a big game, winning five points for the squad.

Lara Trotter scored six points for EMCO.


Kumon Learning 12, Electrical Shop 12

David Buckler scored six points for Electrical Shop, while Nora Mooney also chipped in six, leading all scorers on Kumon Learning.


Underhill 15, Uniglobe Specialty Travel 12

Sophia Flather and Jeanette Carney each scored six points for Underhill in the team's close three-point win.

Leonard Linklater was the only six point scorer on Uniglobe Specialty Travel and Pam Zinck contributed five points.
